ADHD Assessment for Women

ADULT ADHD Assessment at Neuroaffinity

If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed, disorganised, or emotionally reactive in ways that others don’t seem to understand, you’re not alone.

At Neuroaffinity, we offer ADHD assessments for adult women that are compassionate and designed to uncover the truth behind your experiences.

Why Consider an ADHD Assessment for Women?

ADHD is often misunderstood and underdiagnosed in women. Unlike the hyperactivity stereotype often associated with men and boys, ADHD in women may present as emotional dysregulation, forgetfulness, chronic overwhelm or burnout.

Many women go through life being misdiagnosed with anxiety, depression, or personality disorders, without realising that ADHD could be the root cause. Our ADHD assessments for women in the UK are designed to bring clarity, validation, and unique support.

There are many reasons to consider an ADHD assessment, but getting a diagnosis can help you better understand your past and feel more in control of your future.

What’s Included in Your Women’s ADHD Assessment?

At Neuroaffinity, our ADHD assessments are delivered by experienced clinicians who specialise in recognising how ADHD uniquely presents in adult women.

Your private assessment includes:

Initial Screening

A detailed questionnaire reviewing your developmental history, focus challenges, emotional regulation, memory, and executive function patterns.

Online ADHD Assessments for Women

We understand that flexibility and privacy matter. That’s why we offer remote ADHD assessments for women in the UK via secure video consultation. This allows you to complete the process from the comfort of your home, without compromising the depth, privacy or quality of care.

Could You Be Experiencing ADHD as a Woman?

You may benefit from an ADHD assessment if you:

– Struggle with organisation, time management, or focus
– Experience mood swings, overwhelm, or emotional outbursts
– Feel mentally exhausted trying to meet everyday demands
– Constantly forget appointments or lose important items
– Have a history of anxiety, depression, or misdiagnosis
– Perform well in high-pressure situations but burn out easily
– Feel like you’re always “masking” (hiding your symptoms) or working twice as hard as others

If these experiences feel familiar, a private ADHD assessment for adult women could offer the validation, clarity, and support you deserve.
Or, if you’re still unsure whether an assessment is right for you, check out our quick and free ADHD test right here.

Please note: In complex cases, the clinician may require additional information or a second opinion from our Consultant Psychiatrist. This may delay your final report.
