A specialist ADHD clinician will conduct a thorough assessment face-to-face or via video conference, lasting between 90 and 120 minutes. This will cover symptom onset, impact, developmental history, educational background, family history, and other relevant factors.
Within 7 working days of your ADHD feedback appointment, you will receive a written report by email. This report will include the clinical diagnosis and, if applicable, a proposed treatment plan.

Your assessment includes a full clinical evaluation, follow-up feedback call, and written diagnostic report. If diagnosed, you can also book ongoing medication reviews with your clinician.
Please note: that if the Specialist Clinician considers your case to be complex during the assessment, they may need additional information or seek advice from the Consultant Psychiatrist. This could potentially delay your report beyond the standard 7 working days.

Please note: In complex cases, the clinician may require additional information or a second opinion from our Consultant Psychiatrist. This may delay your final report.
If your symptoms meet the criteria for ADHD based on DSM-5 guidelines, you will receive a formal diagnosis. This will be included in your written report, which can be used for workplace or academic accommodations and to inform ADHD treatment options.
Your written diagnostic report is typically delivered within 7 working days of your feedback appointment. In some complex cases, your clinician may request additional information or input from a Consultant Psychiatrist, which may extend the timeline slightly.
Medication is not included as part of the assessment itself. However, if a diagnosis is confirmed, you can book follow-up medication review appointments with your clinician to discuss appropriate treatment options, including prescriptions where suitable.
