Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects the way the brain processes information.
While each person will experience the condition differently, there are some common traits, such as inattention, impulsivity, and hyperactivity. It’s commonly diagnosed in childhood, but ADHD is a lifelong condition that extends into adulthood, too.
Average wait times for an ADHD diagnosis on the NHS in Derby can reach as high as 7 years due to the increasing levels of referrals.
When you come to us for ADHD assessments, you can skip the queue to get the answers you need when you need them. Plus, as we use the same NICE guidelines as the NHS does, you get the exact same high-quality level of care.
Our private ADHD assessments near Derby mean you get to experience the following benefits:
Across England, there are around 2,498,000 people with ADHD, according to data from the NHS. So, if you think you might have ADHD, you aren’t alone.
Undiagnosed ADHD can create unnecessary challenges in the workplace and at home. Once you’ve received your diagnosis, you get access to personalised support to make the day-to-day easier, as well as receive the reassurance you need.
Our private ADHD assessments for adults near Derby put you in the care of compassionate experts to help you understand how neurodivergence impacts you.
Around 5% of children in the UK have ADHD. When you’re caring for a child, we know all you want is to be able to get them the support they need.
Going through adolescence and growing up is tricky as it is, but with undiagnosed ADHD, it can be even harder. With a diagnosis, your child can get access to bespoke SEND support in school to make education and socialising feel that bit easier.
Our child ADHD assessments near Derby help your child get the support they deserve both in and out of school.
We use the same DSM-5 and NICE guidelines as the NHS, so you can trust we’re giving you the most accurate diagnosis and best bespoke care.
When you come to us, you can expect the following six-step process to ensure a smooth, seamless diagnosis.
The first step is to fill out our questionnaire and sliding scale, as this is what helps us get to know you and how ADHD might be impacting your life. We won’t charge you for this unless you progress past this initial step with us.
Next, we’ll start to build a fuller picture of your behaviour and history by speaking to your friends and family. We’ll ask for your permission to do so before we reach out to anyone.
With all the background information collected, we’ll invite you to a clinical interview. Don’t worry, as this is more of a conversation than anything. One of our specialists will discuss your developmental history, symptom onset, behaviour, and family background with you.
There may be occasions where we need to carry out additional testing, known as a QB check, to get more detail on attention and cognitive function. Since this is an additional service, they do come with additional costs, but they are entirely optional.
Once we’ve gathered all the relevant information, we can now begin working on your results, using DSM-5 criteria to analyse the data. When we’re ready, we’ll invite you back to speak in person or via video call, depending on which pathway you chose with us.
Finally, we’ll send you an email within 7 days of your diagnostic interview detailing all of our findings. Here, you’ll also find our personalised recommendations for you on medication and support.
Please note: In more complex cases, our Specialist Clinicians may need to seek advice from a Consultant Psychiatrist. In these instances, reports may be delayed past 7 working days. We will always keep you informed.
A private ADHD assessment helps you skip the queues, but they do come with additional costs. We know this can be a concern for some, but we want to put your mind at ease.
We’re always open and honest about our prices, as well as what you can expect. When you come to us, you’ll get the following:
Life can get in the way sometimes, and travelling to an in-person ADHD assessment isn’t always possible – that’s why we offer online tests, too.
Whether it’s time constraints, travel difficulties, or sensory sensitivities making an in-person assessment tricky, you can book an online test with us. You’ll get the exact same level of care, with guidance from the same clinicians, all conducted via a secure video link to protect your privacy.
If an online ADHD test feels like the right pathway for you, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with our team.

I would gladly recommend this service. My son had been waiting 4 years for an assessment and we went back and forth with the GP. The assessment was easy to book and done smoothly with baring in mind the conditions of my child. Detailed questions and answers which have supported me in getting support for my child at school including a support plan. This assessment has also made my life easier when repeating details for my son of his conditions.Posted on Google Maya ATrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
